Loading labels in a METO pricing gun

Written by: Nathalie Everaert

Loading labels into a METO pricing gun is simple once you know the basic steps. Follow the instructions below to get your gun ready to use.

1. Open the Pricing Gun

Press the two side buttons to release the front lever.
The gun will open like a small door.

2. Prepare the Label Roll

Hold the roll so the strip hangs down like a number 9 (labels facing upward).

3. Insert the Roll

Place the roll into the holder inside the gun until it snaps into place.
Make sure the printed side is facing up.

4. Feed the Labels into the Gun

Insert the end of the label strip into the opening created when you opened the front lever.

5. Close the Lever

Form the lever into an “L” shape and lay about 10 inches of the label strip over it.
Close the lever gently until it locks.

6. Thread the Labels Through the Slot

Hold the gun with the labels facing you.
Locate the slot above the handle and pull it toward you until it releases.

Feed the label strip inside; you’ll see the labels appear over the handle.

Continue feeding until the strip is tight.

Push the slot back until it snaps into place.

7. Advance the Labels

Squeeze the handle repeatedly.
A label should move up under the rubber rollers at the top of the gun.

Once a clean label appears, the gun is ready for use.
