File requirements for uploaded artwork

Written by: Nathalie Everaert

To ensure your order prints clearly and without delay, please review the following file requirements before uploading your artwork.

Accepted File Types

We accept artwork created in most professional design programs or online platforms, as long as the file is 300 DPI or higher.

You may submit these file types:

Software / SourceFile TypesRequirements
Adobe InDesign.inddExport as EPS or PDF
Adobe Illustrator.aiOutline all fonts, then save as EPS or export as PDF
Adobe PDF.pdfMust be 300 DPI or higher
Adobe Photoshop.psdExport as EPS or PDF
Canva.jpeg, .png, .pdfBe sure to download at 300 DPI
CorelDraw.cdrOutline fonts before sending
Microsoft Excel.xlsxMust include a PDF version
Microsoft Word.docxEmbed all fonts; no Bing Images or WordArt
Mailed ArtworkOriginal must be clean and high quality; scan fees may apply

If your file type is not listed, you may still upload it; we will review it manually.
However, non-standard files may delay your order.

We also offer artwork creation if you provide a draft, Word/Excel document, or a sketch.

Resolution Requirements (Important!)

To avoid blurry or pixelated prints:

✔ Your artwork must be 300 DPI (dots per inch)

Lower DPI files may look fine on a home or office printer, but commercial presses are more precise and will reveal pixelation.

✔ Images pulled from the web are usually 72 DPI, which is too low

These will result in soft, fuzzy, or jagged prints.

What Happens If My File Doesn’t Meet Requirements?

  • Your order may be delayed while we contact you for updated artwork

  • We may recommend adjustments or offer our free basic artwork setup service

  • You’ll be notified before anything goes to print
